Strolling through an artful town, taking in artful homes.   Groezinger Winery, and once known as "Vintage 1870," built in 1870 by German born Groezinger.  It was one of the biggest facilities of the day and included  a brick winery, a brandy distillery, a steam power plant, creamery, brick stables and barns, and a two-story estate mansion.  It was in operation until 1955.  333. 303. Breakfast! 304. Vineyards speckled with baaing, grazing sheep.  Wineries rent sheep to cut (eat) the grass and fertilize;-) (biodynamic agriculture).  Our first stop was Joseph Phelps winery - they had hundreds of sheep grazing and it was fun to go out onto their terrace and listen to the sheep baa:-)  And the tasting room was gorgeous - they had hundreds of empty, dusty wine bottles lining the shelves in the room, gigantic striking barrels and framed letters from different president administrations - detailing Joseph Phelps wines paired with dinners held at the White House - sort of neat! 305.   Palm trees standing proud smack dab in the middle of a valley.  Next stop...Round Pond Estate.  This was one of my favorites stops on the trip - we toured their olive grove, gardens, barrel room - and then sat out on their gorgeous patio for olive oil/red wine vinegar/wine tastings...and lunch - some of it straight from their garden.  Relaxing to s...
