My girls were party animals this weekend.  Two back to back birthday parties in one day - they were beside themselves with excitement!  Making the move to Toledo from Columbus was tough in respect to moving away from some of our very, very best friends - who we miss dearly.  We love, love, LOVE our Columbus crew.  But we feel so blessed that over the past few years we've managed to meet some great new people... and pick up old friendships right where we left off.  Our lucky girls now have great little playmates here in Toledo AND Columbus (and so do we!):-)  I thank God every day for friendship. Here the girls are at Hagen's 6th birthday party!  Cowgirl theme...the girls had a blast - I think their favorite parts: Follow the leader...and playing dolls with all the other little girls.  Cozy Sisters:-) I just loved her little outfit... The birthday girl!  Happy Birthday Hagen! Next stop...Emmas' 4th birthday party! ...

Seems like yesterday I was 10 and getting my first pink and purple Walkman and tape (Tiffany..."I think We're Alone Now" single - the best) . Doug took me out to one of my favorite restaurants to celebrate with a few of our favorite friends.  And it just so happens that 10 years ago that same day we were on our first date:-)  Can't believe it's been 10 years...I'm thankful for every second of it...and can't wait for more decades (and nights out) to come!!

October... Pumpkins, football, leaves showing in every color, jeans, sweatshirts, cooler weather that makes for great cozy lazy days inside, donuts, cider, apples... I love October.  And the girls loved our trip to the pumpkin farm - and the cows, piglets, bunnies and sheep that live there!  It was a bit breezy, but that made getting back into the warm car so much better.  Grandpa likes the farm too! The forced picture...Olivia was not too happy but came around... Picking pumpkins... I look like a conehead in this picture:-) Our fall door complete with pumpkins and mums from the farm!

Does anything get better than that?  Yes...add 3 munchkins running around the apple orchard.  The youngest eating every single apple she could get her hands on...(as you will see throughout the pics)...despite our best efforts:-)  Love this time of year!!  Soaking up the colors and coziness!!
