Apple Picking!

Image
We headed over to Maqueens with Grandma & Grandpa for a morning of apple picking. There is not a much better way to spend a Saturday morning than with family, coffee, apple picking outside and donuts (they have the best donuts in the whole wide world!). The girls had an absolute blast. I think this may be one of my favorite things to do with the girls and Doug.

Sweet Girls

Image
Here are some pics of our sweet girls. I pray that their love and friendship grows strong over the years and they will come to know how lucky they are to each have two sisters. I know that I value my friendships with my brothers so very much and pray with all my heart that Ava, Kate & Olivia will realize the same blessing. We love our girls so, so, so much!

The Day Before Baby #3's Big Arrival

Image
Here are some pictures of the girls (and grammy) the day before baby's big arrival! Grammy came up today to help out when the new baby arrives! We love our Grammy:-) We spent the day hanging out, mommy finished up work (yay!). My last conference call was at 3pm and now done until December! Then we all went out to eat at Bravo with Grammy, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Rob & Aunt Carly. A celebration dinner for baby to come! Daddy and I were very anxious! We came home after dinner, put the girls to bed and packed. We then went to sleep (or tried to), pending a 4am wake up for 5am induction. How fun! The anticipation is 1 million times more than that you feel for Christmas morning! We just can't wait to meet our new little bundle! Aunt Carly & I the night before induction! Cousins in the oven:-)

Playing Church

I need to grab a pic of this, but writing it down for the memory books because i think it's too cute... The girls are outside right now on our deck playing "church". Ava did this yesterday...made Kate and I sit next to her on the bench and pretend we were at church. She said that she was the mommy, I was the kid, and Kate was the baby. I asked her what we were going to do at church and she said..."Jesus". Right now...Ava's kneeling and just said her bed time prayer "Be Near Me Lord Jesus", and then made Katelyn join with her in singing "Jesus Loves Me". And last night, we put the girls down in separate rooms because Kate has a cold. Before they go to sleep we say their prayers and then sing "Jesus Loves Me". Well...I was about to leave Kate's room without saying prayers...and she goes..."mommy say prawer." So we said her prayers (shame on mommy for trying to skip:-)). I really need to get some audio/video of them p

Bouncing Fun!

Image
Grandma & our family friend Julie came and picked up the girls for a fun morning at the bouncy place and lunch. As much as I love spending time with my girls, I'm always thankful for a quick break! Daddy and I went for a walk at the park...one of my favorite things to do (especially in the fall). The girls had a blast bouncing, climbing, jumping, running, and then eating lunch out! What a fun morning!

Ice Cream Social

Image
Ava's preschool had an ice cream social tonight...and we were invited! The kids sang us a few songs including "Hermie the Wormy" (which may be the cutest song ever) and "I am a Miracle". All of the kids were absolutely adorable and did a great job (especially after only having a week and a half in school!). Ava's little smile lit us up...and she kept waving at us:-) I just can't believe she's growing so fast. Grandma and Grandpa C joined us and afterwards the girls ran around outside with other kids. Their favorite part of the playground....the "giant" hill behind the school I need to change the speed on my camera to take better motion pics, but these at least captured a glimpse of the moment. Ava is the second from the left (pink sweatshirt) in the group pic...
